Silence is such a profound and deep experience of human existence that only when we have understood silence can we understand all the inspiration that has ever flowed to humanity from the minds and mouths of its adults, the great rishis, sages and prophets.

It’s happening!!! An in-person silent retreat in the restful beauty of the Dunrovin Retreat Center at Marine on St Croix, Minnesota.
Please join us for seven days in silence with guidance by Swami Radha, Lori Beron, and Kathleen Kordich. (First day with orientation and last day with closure are short days.)
The daily schedule includes prayers, group meditations, japa, guided hatha sessions, pranayama and subtle body practices. There is open time for contemplation, journaling, and rest along with quiet walks on the trails.
Three scheduled meals with beverages and snacks available anytime.
Zoom access will be available for those who choose to attend remotely.
Large practice spaces for social distancing during group practices.
We will follow Covid protocols in place as determined by Dunrovin.
Swami Ma Radha Bharati took her vows of Sanyasa in 2007 from Swami Veda Bharati. She earned an M.A. Degree and further formal studies in Comparative Philosophy at the University of Hawaii and an M.A. in Public Policy at the University of Minnesota, Humphrey School of Public Policy. Swami Ma Radha has been a disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas since 1971, and has been serving as Academic Director of Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama in Rishikesh, India, for the past ten years.
Lori Beron is an initiate and certified teacher through the Himalayan Yoga Tradition as well as a Certified Holistic Nurse, she has an MA in Holistic Health Studies and is employed as an RN on a surgical oncology unit at the University of Minnesota Health. Lori took a 3-year Vanaprastha Vow from Swami Veda Bharati during the 2013 Sangha Gathering. (Vanaprastha-a stage in life where one lessens worldly attachments.)
Kathleen Kordich, B.A., RYT-500. Kathleen was initiated by Nina Johnson in 1991. In 2003 she experienced her first Silence Retreat led by Swami Veda Bharati. She is a certified Hatha Yoga and Meditation Teacher in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition (2007), a certified Adept Instructor of Hatha Yoga in the Kriya Yoga Tradition (2000) and a registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT-500). Prior to retirement, she worked as an Adjunct Faculty member and a multi-certified Personal Fitness Trainer. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She lives in Tucson, AZ with her husband.
