DESCRIPTION:Cancelled Because of the Weekend Rain/Snow Storm Sunday Satsang:   At The Center with Michael Smith and Jim Nelson 10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon\n\nThis week’s Sunday Session 10:00-12:00\, March 10th\, is cancelled. \nWe’re expecting freezing rain\, followed by wet\, heavy snow\, “like concrete\,” they say\, along with high winds. The rain\, sleet\, snow will last all night and into Sunday morning. The accumulation is supposed to be between 6 inches and 10 inches\, with a foot of snow expected a little west of the Twin  Cities. \nA good time for DST to kick in\, and to set our clocks ahead one hour. \nJim will be facilitating a Silence Retreat in California on March 17th\, and so the next time we’ll meet will be on March 24th. \nThere will be some hand-outs\, however\, to keep us on track with our Vanaprastha Theme. \nI hope everyone has strong roofs on their houses. \nShantih! \nMichael Smith \n\n\n \n  \nSunday Community Gathering (Satsang)\nSunday Satsang sessions are informal gatherings of people who are interested in refining their meditative practices and their lifestyles following the teachings of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition. \nSenior Teachers Jim Nelson and Michael Smith host each session: \n\nMeet from 10:00 AM – 12 Noon\n45-minute Guided Meditation\nPresentation and a Discussion\n\nThere are some Sundays when Sunday Satsang is not held or when other events and presentations replace the Sunday Satsang sessions.
