In a world of sensory bombardment, embedded with hedonist values, how can we maintain our spiritual center? How can we skillfully remove the blocks that limit the full experience and expression of our compassion and unconditional love? Psychologist and author Jim Nelson will first examine research on disconcerting trends; including exploding numbers of people who struggle with depression, anxiety, borderline personalities, and profound loneliness. What has changed that has led to this malaise? How can we counter-balance these trends? Insights from yoga science on the critical importance of coordinating our four functions of mind, and valuable discoveries in Neuroscience and Quantum Physics will be explored. The two consecutive Thursday’s (June 6th  and June 13th) will include discussion, efficacious yoga practices, and deeply engaging videos.
