9-Day “Guru Gita” Recitation
Tuesday, July 1, 2025 – Wednesday, July 9, 2025
Swami Ritavan Bharati has asked that, for the nine days leading up to Guru Purnima, we offer the audio file and transcription of the “Guru Gita.”
The “Guru Gita” is part of the Skanda Purana authored by the sage Vyasa, and is recited as homage to and invocation of the source of supreme wisdom we call Guru. For the nine days prior to Guru Purnima, from Tuesday, July 1st to Wednesday, July 9th, per Swami Ritavan’s instructions, the audio file of the “Guru Gita” recitation will be shared via Zoom starting at 8:00 PM. This will be a recurring zoom session on each of the nine evenings.
The recitation on July 3rd will follow Thursday Satsang at 8:45 p.m….we will use the Thursday Satsang Zoom link for this recitation.
