“All about Stress” with Daniel Hertz
Stress is a subjective phenomenon and therefore difficult to define. Yet we know it is prevalent in our society today, perhaps more than ever. We will define what it is and what causes it. Time-tested practices from yoga philosophy will be discussed. In addition, we will review practical, research-based, action-oriented, stress management strategies from the National Institute of Mental Health and the American Psychological Association. The techniques we will discuss could also be very helpful for teenagers. If you know a teen, please feel free to bring them along.
