In this class students will learn the key muscles of the shoulder using the Anatomy in Clay system. Class will include modeling the muscles from clay, learning their actions and attachments, and analysis of a few key yoga asanas. For yoga teachers or anyone wishing to learn more about their own muscle anatomy. Some discussion of common injuries will be included.
Yoga teachers and teachers-in-training may use this class towards Yoga Alliance continuing education hours and HYT-TTP students can earn 2.5 A&P hours.
Mary has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 1986 and a member of The Meditation Center since 1995. She is a Massage Therapist specializing in rehabilitative and oncology massage at her practice in Northeast Minneapolis
