May’s Full Moon named the “Flower” Moon.
Begins at 6:30 p.m. CT
This full moon is also know as the Buddha Full Moon or Buddha Purnima.
A celebration of the Buddha’s life falls on this day.
Join Swami Radha and Emilio Bettaglio for a special May Full Moon Havan (fire ceremony) to celebrate spring and Mother’s blessings as well as the Divine presence in all chanting the Maha Lakshmi Gayatri mantra, a full mala of the Vasudeva mantra and the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra.
It will start at 6:30 p.m. The havan will be followed with Prasad. Participants may bring something to share.
