He sold all his possessions and moved from Long Island NY to the foothills of the Himalayas in search of happiness and a guru named Neem Karoli Baba, otherwise known as Maharaji. After years of struggling with drug addiction and depression, Kagel is ‘reborn’ as kirtan singer, Krishna Das.
