FREE Infusing Food with Prana and Super-Qi Cooking Qigong session with a special Aryuvedic commentary on the day’s menu (with Nikki Strong). Livestream via ZOOM, 9:30-10:30 a.m. (CST), before Amrit’s cooking class. Video recording will be made available for those that cannot attend live.

Entire Menu Vegetarian/Vegan. (Recipes and shopping list provided upon registration)

Dishes taught and prepared in class will be served at lunch time ~ 1:00 p.m. for you to enjoy and savor… chai and a wonderful dessert are also included.

Red Lentil Dal (Lal Masoor Ki Daal) is very easy, quick to prepare daal / lentil recipe. It is very popular in the Punjabi community. Light, fragrantly spiced, and easily digested, this daal makes a wonderful protein-rich meal suitable for all Ayurvedic doshas and seasons.

Basmati Jeera Rice; a delightfully flavored Indian rice dish cooked with an exquisite selection of Indian spices.

Mixed Vegetable Curry, a comforting, healthy, magically spiced vegetable dish, with the earthy, sweet, and nutty tastes and aromas of a seasonal mix of fresh, lightly cooked vegetable

Indian Salad; a delicious and beautiful mixture of fresh leafy greens and vegetables to accompany the prepared meal.

Indian Chai and Indian Sweets:

Ms. Amrit Kaur, born and brought up in Punjab, a Northern Indian state, now a resident of Edina, MN, will be teaching simple North Indian vegetarian dishes for 3 Saturdays from 10:00 a.m until Noon. Amrit has been catering North Indian food for the past 15+ years in the Twin Cities. Amrit was our chef for 2 weeks in July 2022 at TMC for the most recent TTP program… students and teachers were well taken care of, nourished by the delicious lunches and dinners cooked in our beautiful kitchen by Amrit ji and various TMC community volunteers who helped in the process.
