Join Michelle Skally Doilney as she shares in-depth and experiential everyday, simple ways to care for yourself using breathwork, gentle body movement, home and office adjustments (low to no cost!), and especially universal wisdom on keeping calm simple. Self-care first is the best way we can then be available to help our friends, family, and neighbors. We heal together as individuals, and within community. Michelle will share from her studies and experiences in Himalayan Yoga, BTB Feng Shui, and Zen Writing Practice. There will be time for questions, discussion and sharing.
Please bring or prepare at home for class:
We will be doing several short relaxation and gentle movement exercises while lying down on mats and in chairs. All exercises are adaptable for body comfort; no formal hatha postures or strength-training exercises in this workshop.
Please also bring water to drink throughout class.
You will need: Comfortable chair with back support, firm seat, and comfortable position for legs; yoga mat; small/thin pillow for your head.
Optional: small foam roller/rolled up blanket for under your knees; light blanket for a body covering.
Recommended: Eat lunch at least one hour before class if possible; less digestive activity = more relaxation during the longer exercises.
