Your child will hear stories that reflect the non-harming (ahimsa) concepts of yoga, and experience how they can cultivate internal peace to radiate outwards. They will learn breath awareness with the OM mantra, physical yoga, and beginning level muscle relaxation. A brief, beginning level meditation practice will also be introduced. A packet outlining a practice that can be followed later will be included. The instructors are sharing the indigenous method of cultivating yoga practice for children in the Himalayan yoga tradition in which they were raised.
