“BIOFEEDBACK FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT” with Daniel Hertz
Biofeedback can increase self-awareness and support the process of learning self-regulation. It is well-recognized as a powerful, non-invasive, and relatively simple way to measure subtle changes in the emotional and physiological state. The 3 keys to learning self-regulation will be shared and discussed. In addition, a detailed description of diaphragmatic breathing will be presented and practiced. Much of the hour will be spent demonstrating the capacity of the Biofeedback equipment by connecting the sensors to several volunteers. Sensors include respiration, muscle tension, skin temperature, skin conductance, and heart rate.
