“Forty-Day Spiritual Festival, Insights and Stories”
with Michael Smith and Jim Nelson

On Sunday, July 29th, two days after Guru Purnima, there was a Special Sunday Session where people checked in and shared the stories that have unfolded over the summer in terms of trying to keep a regular schedule with one’s yoga sadhana and one’s meditation time. Out of that discussion came many beneficial insights which Jim and Michael would like to share. Because Thursday will be a discussion format, we can be assured that many helpful insights will come.

How have the last few months been going? How has life been treating you? Any peak experiences? Insights? Do you have any areas of study which you feel would be particularly valuable for future Thursday and Sunday sessions?

Our spirits will rise as we rekindle the love and community. Swami Veda often reminded us that during challenging times personally, and in the larger society, the Sangha is a clarifying refuge to guide our thoughts, speech, and actions.
