Swami Hari Harananda Bharati spent many years living in near-isolation at the holy Himalayan Shiva shrine of Tarkeshwar. Over the course of thirty-five years, he pursued Swami Rama to become his disciple, but was always turned down and sent away. Then late one night, Swami Rama unexpectedly showed up at Tarkeshwar and told Swami Hari he would initiate him the next morning. Daniel will share several stories about Swami Hari and also explain how he became Swami Hari’s personal assistant for several years. In addition, he will show several photos of Swami Hari and play a rare recording of Swami Hari leading a kirtan at Tarkeshwar.
