In this session, Dr Ananda will discuss concepts and practises of Nada Yoga, the unitive understanding of vibration and its relation to the universe and the individual. In the traditional teachings of Indian Culture, that are the root source of the Yoga tradition, it is taught that Nada (vibration), coalesces into Bindu (a focal point of consciousness)and then manifests as Kala (the drama of the world). If we understand Nada as energy, we realise that we are all as old as the Big Bang itself, energy-wise! How can these “elevated concepts”, become “real” in our day-to-day life will be the focus of this session that will explore some specialised concepts and practices of the Rishiculture, Gitananda Yoga tradition codified by Dr Ananda’ father, Swami Gitananda Giri Guru Maharaj who was a contemporary of Swami Rama.
Ananda will touch on many topics that have been explored in detail in his illuminative book,”Saraswati Pearls: Dialogues on the Yoga of Sound” available here.
