The Charaka Samhita, one of the classic texts of Ayurveda, is remarkably still relevant today. In this session we’ll discuss the chapter on epidemics and what Ayurveda teaches us about today’s pandemic.

The Charaka Samhita, one of the classic texts of Ayurveda, is remarkably still relevant today. In this session we’ll discuss the chapter on the root causes of illness.
Gary and Cynthia Gran have been treading the Himalayan path since the late 1970s. They met at the old Glenview Center in Illinois and have served the Tradition in various capacities over the years. They are both certified yoga teachers and Ayurvedic practitioners. They have published more than eighty articles on yoga, meditation and Ayurveda. They are currently enjoying desert gardening, cooking, and hiking at their home in Tucson, Arizona.
