Anatomy of the Hip Joint with Mary Bowman-Cline

Using the Anatomy in Clay system you will learn names, actions, and attachments of the muscles which move the hip joint by modeling them from clay and attaching to a 24-inch skeleton. Some common issues such as piriformis and IT band syndrome will be discussed also how hip muscles may contribute to pain in the lower back and knee. For yoga teachers or anyone wanting to learn about their own anatomy. This class counts as 2.25 continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance or HYT TTP.
Mary is a Hatha Yoga and Anatomy teacher at The Meditation Center and has been a rehabilitative massage therapist since 2008.
