Thursday Satsang”Biofeedback Demonstrations” with Daniel Hertz
Join us on January 12, 2017 for our Thursday Satsang with Daniel Hertz for a presentation entitled “Biofeedback Demonstrations” Come for the Biofeedback demonstration and stay for the Full Moon Meditation. The practice of Biofeedback is an essential element of the Himalayan Tradition. The goal is to learn self-regulation. It is a key to increasing Stress Management skills. It allows us to apply the skills learned through our Meditation practice and to check our progress.
In his Biofeedback talk last fall, Daniel presented a PowerPoint on the foundations of Biofeedback. This new presentation will be devoted to demonstrating the capacity of the Biofeedback equipment by connecting the sensors to several volunteers. Sensors include respiration, muscle tension, skin temperature, and heart rate. For information on how to sign up for an individual sessions, please see the Biofeedback link on the Center website.
Daniel Hertz is on the faculty at The Meditation Center. He is internationally certified in both Yoga/Meditation (E-RYT 500) and Biofeedback (BCIA.org). He is the author of two Yoga/Meditation related books that benefit SRIVERM, the school in the remote Himalayas founded by Swami Hari. More
