Gather, practice, and renew
The Meditation Center’s events are opportunities to gather for shared practice, reflection, and deeper engagement with the Himalayan Yoga Meditation Tradition. Whether you join a Thursday or Sunday satsang, attend a workshop, or take part in a retreat, each event creates space for learning, connection, and inner renewal.
Weekly community practice
Satsang
On Thursday evenings, gather for gentle hatha yoga, guided meditation, lectures, and community connection. On Sunday mornings, join for guided meditation and book group. Satsang is one of the easiest ways to experience the center.

In the heart of Northeast
The Meditation Center has been in the heart of Minneapolis’s Northeast neighborhood for over 50 years. Our historic building, once the convent of St. Boniface Catholic Church across University Avenue from the center, provides a bright, serene, and spacious location for our events, workshops, classes, and short retreats.
Recent renovations have meant that our beautiful building will welcome you for years to come. But there’s always more work to be done. See how you can help.
Begin Where You Are
New students typically start with Meditation I or a gentle hatha yoga class, then build a personal practice from there. Longer-time practitioners may like a refresher in Meditation II or III, or a philosophy or lifestyle and wellness class.
